Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never played the piano before but I would like to start, do you teach complete beginners?

All entry levels are welcome! As long as you have a passion for learning piano. I am more than happy to adapt workshops and teaching style to suit your needs.

How about children?

Yes, I have taught many children in the past and I believe learning at a young age will help them really keep that skill all through life as the brain is ready to accept new skills. The youngest age I teach is 5 years old, I am also DBS Checked for your peace of mind.

Where do the lessons take place?

I teach my piano students from my home teaching room located on Bessemer Road, Swindon, SN2 1ND. Click on the map below to bring up my rough location on Google Maps. My full teaching address will be disclosed on booking your first lesson.

I am planning to play a special song to celebrate an occasion but I have no previous playing experience, can you help me learn that one song?

Absolutely! If you have any time restrictions we can concentrate on learning the one song for your special occasion. We will work through the song with structure and provide you with plenty of practice time.
